Sub : Increase in the rate of per capita grant for maintenance of ex-
inmates of camps & Homes/Infirmaries living outside Homes and
Institutions.

The undersigned is directed to say that In view of the soaring price of the essential commodities the question of upward revision of the quantity of cash doles as maintenance assistance payable to the ex-home inmates in this Deptt.. now living outside Homes/Institutions with their friends and relatives has been under active consideration of the Govt. for some time
2. The undersigned is now directed oy order of the Governor to say that Governor, after due consideration, has been pleased to accord sanction to enhancement of the rate of cash dole as maintenance assistance from Rs.125/-(sanctioned vide No. G.0. No. 3074-H & M. dt. 10. 9. 90) to Rs. 320/- (Repese three hundred and twenty; only per head per month in consonance with the decision enhancement of dry/cash doles of Home inmates (vide G. 0. No. 1898-H & M dt. 10. 9. 97.)
3. This order comes into effect from 1. 6. 97 and supersedes all previous orders in the subject.
4. This order issues with the concurrence of F. D. vide their U.0. No. 128-Estt/dt.9.7.98.
5. The Accountant General. West Bengal & Pay & Accounts Officer. Calcutta are being informed.
