MEMORANDUM

Sub : Permission for advance drawal of funds for purchase of foodgrains
(Rice & Wheat) for the inmates of the Homes & Camps under the
R. R. & R Department.

The undersigned is directed to say that there are nine(9) Homes and Camps in the district of Nadia. Hooghly and North 24-Parganas under this Department Sanction is made by this Department towards purchase of foodgrains (Rice & Wheat) from the F. C. I. in respect 01 the inmates of Homes & Camps to the respective Sub-Divisional Officer and Additional District Magistrate on quarterly basis. A question has ansen whether the amount as sanctioned can be drawn in advance, for payment to the F. C. I for supplying the food articles.

2. After careful consideration, the Governor is hereby pleased to authorise the District Magistrate of Nadia. Hooghly and North 24-Parganas fur drawing advance of the sanotioned fund for purchase of foodgrains for the Homes under the control of the respective D. M.(s). The limit of such advance drawal shall be to the extent of the sanctioned/allotted fund for the purpose. This will be in the form of rolling advance subject to the condition that the first advance will be adjusted before the second one is drawn in a series.

3. This order supercedes all previous orders.

4. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their WO. No. 52-F A. dated 22.3.99.
