Sub : Recognition and election of recognized colony committee in the state.

In continuation of the of this Deptt’s circular no. 160(143)/RC(Dev) Dt. 01/03/1989 (a copy is enclosed for his ready reference) the undersigned is directed to state that henceforth no recognized R.R. Colony Committee will be allowed to be functioning for more than 2 years without election. Those colony committee who are in function for more than 2 years without election in his district, may be asked to conduct election with immediate effect. If they fail to do so, their recognition will be cancelled forth-with by the district authority. On showing interest in conducting election, necessary administrative support may be provided to them by district administration.
