Sub : Enhancement of the rate of Maintenance grant for Home families.

Ref. : Memo, No. R/1306/RC. dt. 2.9.88 from the D.D. (R).

The undersigned is directed to refer to his memo. on the above subject and tosay that in view of the increase in the prices of Commodities, the Governor has been pleased to raise the maintenance grant from Rs. 15/- per head per month to Rs.45/- per head per month tor Home families with effect from 18.11.88.
2. This order becomes effective from 18.11.89 and supersedes all previous orders in the suotect.
3. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Deptt of this Govt. vide their U.O. No.402-FA dt.17.11.88
4. The Accountant General. W.B. has been informed.

Sub :Expenses on cremation and Shach Ceremony of the inmates
dying in R. R. & R. Camps and Homes

The undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that Governor has been pleased to sanction. in modification of this Department G.O. No. 2498-H & M dated 7.6.89. enhancement of expenses to be incurred per person on cremation and Sradh Ceremony of inmates who died in Camps and Homes under the R.R. & R. Department of this Government from As. 150 to Rs. 250/-(Rupees two hundred and fifty) only with immediate effect.

2. The Expenditure is debitable to the head "2235—Social Security & Welfare(Rehabilitation)-01-Rehabilitation)-800-other Expenditure-(1)-Misc.-expenditure(Voted)"in the State budget.
