ANNEXURE-"B"
Tasks for the regularisation of 998 Group of squatters Colonies.
1. Locate the colony.
2. Secure the Mouza Map of the Mouza in which the Colony is situated.
3. nIdentify the Dag Nos. of land under the occupation of the Colony.
4. Procure R.O.R. for the concerned Dag Nos. (from B.L.L.R's Office)
5. Ascertain the ownership of the Dag Nos. by consulting R.O.R.If the entire Dag Nos. belong to State Govt.(vested or Khas or Urban Land Ceiling or Departmental land. i.e. R. & R. R. or Irrigation or PWD etc.). pick up!hat colony for Deed operation.
7. If not according to item 6, discard the colony for the present.
8. Ask the refugees of the colony to submit the list of families of the colony.
9. Ask them to submit the attested copy of refugee certificate. The attested copy isto be kept by the Officer with the statement "Compared with the Original and found 0.K". Hence, ask the refugees to show the original and submit an attested copy of the certificate.
10. With production of the original refugee certificate and submission of certified copies of the Refugee certificates, the concerned colony will not be taken up for regulansation.
11. On the basis of the Refugee Certificate, verify how many refugees and how many non-refugee families reside in the colony.
12. If it is found that 80 percent of the families are refugees. that colony is to betaken up for regularisation.
13. For the purpose of Deed operation by the R. R. & R. Deptt.. the Colony Committee should be asked to reshuffle the holding so as to put the non-refugees in one sector and refugees in another sector with clear demarcation.
14. Even if such reshuffling as noted in item 13 cannot be organised due to various difficulties, the Deed operation should not be withheld.
15. After reshuffling, the compact area where the refugees are settled to be taken into consideration and a proposal with the site-plan, on the Mouza Map and clearly mentioned Dag Nos. and area of the land, character of the land etc. be prepared and sent to the concerned authority with the approval of R. R. & R. Deptt. for transfer to the R. R. & R. Deptt.
16. Now prepare a Layout Plan when the land concerned has been transferred to R. R. & R. Deptt. After the layout Plan is completed, other operations like Affidavit, writing of Deeds, Identification of the persons, Registration etc. i.e. the normal procedure to be adopted.
