(3) All such applications, when accepted shall be serially numbered and enteredin the Register of applications for search and copy (Form No.18, Appendix I), the fee paid in respect of each application being shown in theappropriate column. If any such application is exempt from fee the fact shall be noted in the said column.receipt for the fee paid shall be given in Form No.19 or 20 in Appendix 1, as the case may be.
(4) (a) When a copy of any registered document is required. applications bothfor search of the appropriate index and inspection of the register book in which the document has been copied shall, except in cases where no fee for search and inspection is payable, be made before applying for the copy.
(b) An application for inspection of any entry in a register-book shall be preceded by an application for search of the appropriate index except in cases where no searching fee is payable.
(5) Applications made through Sub-Registrars for copies from books deposited in the Registrar's Office shall be made in writing and shall be transmitted without delay to the Registrar for necessary action.
(6) When an application for a copy is forwarded to the Registrar under sub-rule(5), the necessary copying fee or an acknowledgment of its receipt shall accompany it.
(7) Registrar shall permit searches of, and shall grant copies of entries in, books kept previous to the first day of January, 1909 in the same manner as in the case of books kept under the Act.
(8) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 57, copies ofentries departmentally prescribed, and of all applications and papers relatingto Registrars' proceedings under sections 72 and 74 as well as of other documents and papers filed in Registration offices. may be granted to anyperson on payment of the fees under Articles F and G of the Table of fees prescribed under section 78 for inspection of the entries and for copy.
