4. The Superintendents of the four Production Centres. respective Officer-In- Charge of G.R. Stores. Cossipore and Bonhooghly Garage will report to the Member Secretary of the unseviceable/unusable and surplus articles lying with them by 30th June and 31st December of each Calender year.

5. On receipt of the report the Member Secretary of the Board is to convene a Meeting of the Sub-Committee to examine the report and inspect -the articles and furnish report to the Central Condemnation Board thereof towards declaring the articles condemned/surplus. The Sub-Committee will also recommend the reserve price of the articles so declared condemned/surplus. Whale declaring article surplus. the Sub-Committee should make It sure that it is not usable in any other R.R. Office/Home/Camp/Centre

6. The Board will consider the report of the Sub-Committee and dec;are the articles condemned/surplus according to the merit of the case

7. The Central Condemnation Board will meet at least twice in a year or as trequently as the situation demands.

8. The Board will seek approval of the Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation Department regarding reserve price of the condemned/surplus articles.
On receipt of approval from the Government. the Deputy Director(R) will take steps for disposal of the articles by auction sale. The sale proceeds will be depositec to Government under the Head of Account "2235-Social Security and Welfare-01-Rehabilitation- 200-Other Rehabilitation Schemes (13)-Other items" with intimation to the Government in the Refugee Relief ano Rehabilitation Department.

9. In case any District C.B. seeks any guidance/instruction in respect of disposal of the articles found unusuable/surplus on winding up of any Centre/home the C.C.S. will consider the matter, decide and instruct the D.C.B. accordingly.

10. This partially modifies the previous Memo. No. 3534-Rehab. dated 1.12.94.

MEMORANDUM

 

The organisational set up of R.R.& R. Directorate was reviewed in the present context of nature of work. With the passing of time through a process of evolution, it was felt necessary to re-name the different wings of the said Directorate in conformity with the nature of job being discharged by the said Directorate and accordingly a Department order no. •1676-Estt./4M-17/98 dl. 7.9.98 was issued.
In partial modification of the said order the Governor is pleased to alter the names of the different sections of the Directorate and re-allocate the obs and responsibilities accordingly as indicated below
