OFFICER IN CHARGE: DEPUTY DIRECTOR (LAND)
Deputy Director (Land) is in immediate charge of land section and as such responsible for efficient management and function under supervision of Director (Land).
3. DEVELOPMENT SECTION
Nature of work:
(i) All matters relating to infrastructure development of rural and urban refugee colonies with central assistance as well as from the State Budget allocation.
(ii) Court cases relating the above.
(iii) Any other work as may be assigned by the DRRC/RRC.
OFFICER IN CHARGE: DEPUTY DIRECTOR (DEVELOPMENT)
Deputy Director (Dev.) is in charge of Dev. Section and as such responsible for efficient management of this section under supervision of Dy. Refugee Rehabilitation Commissioner.
4. REGULARISATION SECTION
Nature of work:
This Section deals with residual regularisation work relating to 149-Group, 175-Group and 607-Group of squatters colonies earmarked to be controlled from the head quarter in respect of Calcutta, North & South 24-Parganas and Hooghly, Viz.,
(i) All matters relating to regularisation of squatters’ colonies under the jurisdiction of R.R.&R. Directorate such as execution, regularisation, distribution and preservation of deeds and follow up action on proper recording of R.R. land, issue of ‘No objection Certificate’ for water connection and electric connection etc., mutation cases, survey matter etc.
(ii) Allotment of land and execution of lease deed thereof in respect of the land located in the colonies, controlled directly by R. R. & R. Directorate.
(iii) Regularisation work relating to Dakshineswar Technical Scheme.
(iv) Matters relating to issue of certified copies of deed.
(v) Court cases related to above.
(vi) Any other work as may be assigned by the DRRC/RRC.
(vii) Registration of deeds of all types.

Deputy Director (Regularisation) is in charge of Regularisation Section. He is responsible for efficient and smooth functioning of the regularisation matters and the matters relating to registration of deeds under supervision of Dy. Refugee Rehabilitation Commissioner.
