(v)  PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE:

In continuation of the direction of the Govt. of India a Project Implementation Committee was set up vide Resolution No. 916-Rehab/10M-1/95 dated 20.4.95 (Annexure – 113) to approve the project to be implemented under Phase-III of the scheme for infrastructure development of colonies with assistance from Govt. of India. The Committee in addition to approving the project would also seek release of central assistance and review the implementation thereof. The Committee consisted of the following members:

1.  Secretary, R. R. & R. Dept.

2.  Representatives of the Ministry of Urban Development.

3.  C.E.O., CMDA or representative.

4.  Chief Engineer, P.W. (CB) Dept.

5.  Special Secretary. Finance Dept.

(vi)  MONITORING COMMITTEE:

A  Monitoring Committee was constituted vide Resolution No. 917-Rehab/10M-1/95 dated 20.4.95 (Annexure – 106) for better implementation of the scheme for infrastructure development of the refugee colonies with funds to be provided by the Govt. of India. The Committee was set up with the following members:

1.  Chief Secretary.

2.  Finance Secretary.

3.  Secretary, P.W.D.

4.  Secretary, Urban Development Dept.

5.  Secretary, Municipal Affairs Dept.

6.  Chief Executive Officer, CMDA.

7.  Secretary, R. R. & R. Dept.

The Committee is required to monitor preparation of projects, sanction & implementation and also issue necessary guidelines thereof.
